It’s All About Me Programme run in partnership with Positive Futures  just finished in Lisburn in December 2009!  Congratulations to the 10 wonderful women carers of children with learning disabilities who completed the Programme and who have set up their own Carers Group!

WHATS BEEN HAPPENING WITH “ME” -  JANUARY 2010

It’s All About Me Programme for Sib an eight week Personal Development and Activity Programme for brothers and sisters of children with learning disabilities starts up in Fermanagh! 

The Results of What About Me? - a survey tracking the personal development needs of male Carers has been completed in partnership with Positive Futures and Green Hat.  This followed on from a major celebration event for male carers held in October 2009.  A new 6 week taster personal development programme has now been developed which is due to start on 3rd February!  Thanks to the 20 male carers who have informed this project!

COMING UP THIS FEBRUARY

An advanced Personal Development Programme – More About Me – is due to start in Fermanagh, at the Aisling Centre on 19th February.  30 women who had formerly graduated from the It’s All About Me Programme have now signed up!

An It’s All About Me  Programme for women carers is due to start in Omagh at Omagh Enterprise Centre on Monday 8th February and in Derry on 2nd March.  Any carers  interested in a place on any of these programmes should contact Noreen Kettyles on 07795096861.
